After a very successful first edition we have decided to complete our 2020 program with COLOUR BOOM | SECOND EDITION. It’s said by many scholars and great psychologists that one of the fastest things that our brains perceive is contrast. With this exhibition we aim to create a “Colour Boom” in our gallery and in our guests minds- a symphony of colours. The main requirement is the following! Each submitted work must have at least 5 colours in the composition! Submission Guidelines- Please read carefully. To apply for “COLOUR BOOM” simply email us 3 images of your work (3 different works) Title_ Size_ Medium_ Price and a short bio, no more than 150 words at [email protected] Eligible media but not limited: -painting -sculpture -photography -digital art -Installation -video -prints -textile To make a submission is absolutely free but we do charge a £165 fee for each participating artist as we only charge 15% sales commission and that includes: -printed catalogs -admin -graphic designer -champagne -mix finger food -caviar -professional photographer -hostess -security Important dates: - the open call will run until 06 December - artworks delivery date 10 December - the exhibition will run from 11 December until 17 December with a private view on 11 December - 6 to 9 pm at our gallery space in Aldgate. Location. We are situated right in the heart of artistic London: - Aldgate East 1 min - Aldgate 2 min - Whitechapel 4 min - Shoreditch high street 8 min - Liverpool Street 9 min - Tower Hill 9 min - Monument 12 min - Bank 12 min - Cannon Street 15 min - Old street 18 min - Mansion house 18 min - Moorgate 18 min Alternatives. We had a lot of enquires from foreign artists to exhibit with us but sometimes shipping the work to London in time might be a bit difficult in this challenging period, that’s why we’ve come up with an alternative! If you are one of the accepted artist and you find it hard to ship your work to us, you can send us photos of your work and we can print and frame it for you. We have 3 available sizes for the frame: 1. 32/32 cm 2. 30/40 cm 3. 40/50 cm Event. Due to the latest governmental policy we can only allow 6 people at the time in the gallery. For this event we will have time slots of 30 minutes each- between 6 and 9 pm interval. To book a time slot simply email us at [email protected] What happens if another lockdown is coming? If another lockdown is coming we will simply change the dates. Important. As we run multiple open calls, please make sure you include in the email line the open call you apply for.
